Terms of Service | Sat by Nat

Welcome to Sat by Nat. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Vaccination Requirement

All pets must be current on rabies vaccination at minimum. Proof may be requested at any time. SAT BY NAT reserves the right to decline or terminate service if this requirement is not met.

2. Veterinary Authorization

You authorize SAT BY NAT (Natalia) to contact your veterinarian, request medical records, and seek veterinary care in case of emergency. You are financially responsible for all resulting fees.

3. Safety & Recording Policy

For everyone's safety, all sessions may be audio and/or video recorded for liability and documentation purposes.

4. Behavior & Safety

Please disclose any history of aggression, fear, or medical conditions prior to service. SAT BY NAT reserves the right to refuse or stop services immediately if a pet poses a safety risk, without refund.

5. Payment Policy

Payment is due before or at time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in cancellation of future services. For multi-night Slumber Pawty services, a deposit may be required.

6. Travel & Access

You agree to provide safe and clear access to the home and secure all pets before arrival if necessary. SAT BY NAT will maintain the home in the same condition found and follow all household instructions provided by the Client.

7. Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency, SAT BY NAT will act in the best interest of your pet and contact you immediately. If you cannot be reached, the Provider is authorized to transport the pet to the listed veterinary clinic or the nearest emergency animal hospital. All resulting costs are the Client's responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

SAT BY NAT is not liable for pre-existing conditions, illnesses, injuries, or unforeseen medical events. The client understands that pets may experience sudden illness or death due to natural causes beyond the sitter's control. SAT BY NAT is not responsible for lost pets if doors/gates are left unsecured by the owner.

9. Photography & Social Media

The Provider may photograph or video pets during care for documentation and social media use. If you do not consent, please notify the Provider in writing before service begins and no photos will be shared publicly.

10. Additional Pets

A flat +$5 per additional animal applies to all services when more than one pet is included in a visit. Each pet must individually meet all vaccination and health requirements.

11. Holiday Surcharge

A $10 holiday surcharge applies to services scheduled on major US holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).

12. Cancellation Policy

More than 48 hours notice: Full refund
Within 48 hours: 50% of the service fee is forfeited
No-show / same-day cancellation: Full fee forfeited

13. Modifications to Terms

SAT BY NAT reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in Cook County, Illinois.
